Is Badge authentication for non-Ignition IDP a possibility? Like maybe for EntraID using a SAML attribute?

I think I understand the concepts and how it works in classic pure Active Directory, but I can't quite wrap my head around how it would work with SAML or OIDC or if it's even feasible.
