Banner Wireless Gateway

Hello,

I have a Banner DXM700-B1R1 Banner Gateway for receiving wireless signals from devices in the field. We have it elsewhere in the plant but it uses a Rockwell PLC to read in the data with a EDS file. Has anyone ever pulled the raw ethernet data into ignition to avoid using a PLC in this application? I have a Groov Rio to collect other data from old equipment in the area but am also in sure if I can pull in the raw ethernet data there either.

If it behaves as an E/IP device, consider pturmel's Ethernet/IP driver, which supports behaving as a E/IP scanner device.

Yup, you can read them directly into Ignition using Modbus.
