Bar Chart Issues After Upgrade to 7.7.1

Bar charts on a project window stopped working after upgrading from 7.6 to 7.7.1. Popup error message states ‘First column must be of type string’ with no details available. Output console message: ‘ERROR [PMIBarChart-AWT-EventQueue-2] First column must be of type string’. Any ideas?
