Blink Camera Streaming

I have been looking a pturmel's image streamer driver module and I do have a question of will a blink or a ring camera even work? since I don't have an ip that i can directly use I have to go through the company website to view them will those work or would you have to get different cameras that dont go through like a company software?

I have no idea. If you can find an RTSP URL for them, they should work.

Okay, thank you I was able to find they do not support rstp or ONVIF and do not have any type of internal web server so I don't believe I'll get to practice with this. Thank you!

I have a little home automation project I've been working on in Perspective that includes a security camera dashboard. You probably aren't going to get Ring to work, but I've had luck with using TinyCam Pro's webserver to get RSTP URLs for several different kinds of cameras that I have around my property (mostly Wyze Pan v3 cameras). Blink is listed under their supported devices, so this should work for you.

The only downside is that Tinycam can only be hosted on an Android device, from what I understand. You could get around this by running it on an android emulator on your PC in case you don't have an old Android lying around.

ohhhh sweet! okay ill see what I can do with that try to find some how to's on it thanks man. I'm not trying to do anything fancy with an nvr or storing or anything i just want to stream and be able to show that stream.
