Bring Kepware tag description into Ignition tag documention

I want bring the Kepware description into the ignition tag documention meta data but it can't not done automatically when I import and browse the tags.
Is there any easy workaround for this?

Unfortunately there is no workaround at all, easy or not.

Have you tried Kepware's Config API? I think it might be a possibility to use that to pull in the tags' description and match with Ignition tag's OPC path. Though it can get trickier if there are Aliases and tag groups involved.
