Hopefully this isn’t a duplicate question, but I have read numerous posts and haven’t found the answer.
I have a working connection to my Siemens S7-1500 plc and have added numerous (OPC) tags in Designer manually (since you can’t browse for Siemens tags). After assigning these tags to various objects (numeric input, numeric display, etc) on a Window and setting to Preview mode, I’m able to read from/write to these tags without issue.
The question I have is, is there a way to expose these manually created tags to allow an OPC UA client (i.e. UAExpert) connected to Ignition to browse/read/write these tags?
