The IU video on SVGs in Ignition 8 shows dragging SVGs into a view. This was demonstrated in Windows but doesn’t seem to work in Linux.
Are there any other ways to get SVGs into a view?
We’re already tracking this internally. Part of the problem is we’re waiting on a fix from the JXBrowser vendor. I think drag n drop for anything involving the browser panel (so… Perspective anything) is broken on Linux.
I had contacted support the other day about this.
They informed me it was a known bug and would contact me when its fixed.
I do not believe there is any other way to import the svgs into views when running designer in on linux.
