[BUG-14000] Transaction Group Hour Meter Not Resetting to Zero in 8.0

Since upgrading from 7.9.10 to 8.0.1 I have seen our transaction groups that use hour meters not restarting from zero the next time they are triggered.

Has this behavior changed in 8.0?

Below is how I have the item and group configured and the “retentive” option is not selected.

I believe it has something to do with the fact that the tag that I am driving the hour meter with is the same as the trigger for the group. A work around that looks like it will work is moving that hour meter to a Run-Always Expression Item.

In 7.9, as soon as the group was triggered the hour meter would restart from zero.

The hour meter functionality should continue to work correctly even when you upgrade from 7.9 to 8.0. Will write an internal ticket to track this issue. Thanks for informing us of this issue.
