If the ‘Enabled’ property is false, and the mode is in either Edit Current or Edit Single, you can still edit the values on the screen. Appears to be a Z order issue since a ‘disabled colored’ border appears around the window, all the boxes are just editable in this state.

Sorry this took a bit to get to, this is consistent with the behavior and 7.9 and still prevents saving the fields. Im going to go ahead and open a ticket for this but due to the fact that any inputs can’t be saved I don’t see it having a high priority but let me know if there is any reason it should be.
