In 8.04 nightly, embedded views in coordinate containers no longer scale contents based on the size of the embed box. Irrespective of “useDefaultViewWidth”. I re-installed 8.03 and this started working properly again.

Never mind. I see what is going on. As a temporary fix, you can set the root style property of your embedded views to flex 0 0 auto. Try that.
