[BUG-14582] DNP3 timestamp problem

Hi,

Im having trouble getting ignition to read the timestamp of an unsolicited message from a siemens s7-1200 using DNP3. Using wireshark i can see the unsolicited message come through with the correct timestamp (please see attached screen shot). The boolean value in ignition is updated, however the timestamp is incorrect (please see screenshot) going back to 1970 as a default time i suppose?

Im assuming because wireshark can read the timestamp that the code in the PLC is correct. Not sure what ive missed in ignition though.
Unsolicited messages for the DNP3 driver are enabled.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Strange… can you send me that Wireshark capture (kevin@…) and tell me what version of Ignition you’re using? Looks like 8.0.x?

I was using 8.0.2 but now im using 8.0.3 and the problem still exist. Unfortunately i dont have that exact capture however i do have another i just took with the same tags. just for reference the two unsolicited messages relate to the two tags in ignition given below. Wasnt 100% how to send the capture to you so i’ve just used a onedrive link. Sign in to your account

so I’ve connected the device using kepware and it works perfectly…

This seems like a bug on our side. We’ll look into it.

This issue was fixed in the 8.0.5 nightly build that was uploaded today (9/3).
