[Bug-14778]Boolean Memory Tag Value Migration (7.x -> 8.0) Is Incorrect

Hi,
I am seeing some strange behavior of UDT memory tags after upgrading from 7.9.9 to 8.0.3.
After upgrading the Ignition Gateway the memory boolean tags of all the UDT’s has changed its default value from true to false.
Before the upgrade the default value was true and after the upgrade the default value is false.
Any clue to why this is happening?

We haven’t had any reports on this issue as of yet, but this definitely something we want to investigate. Would it be possible to post an export of the tags from 7.9 so that we can look at what might be happening/attempt to reproduce the issue?

Thanks,
Garth

Thank you for providing the tags. I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Boolean tags are getting their value stripped on upgrade and I have opened a ticket for resolution. I have updated the ticket title because it impact more than just UDTs unfortunately. Thank you for reporting it.

Hi Ggross,
Thank you for your reply and for clarifying that it is an error that the Boolean tags are getting reset.

This issue was fixed in the 8.0.4 Nightly build that was uploaded today (8/26).
