When displayValue is False, the barcode image does not update when the value changes.
Thank you for reporting this bug, I have reproduced this bug, and I believe I know the root cause- it should be a quick fix. I will return to this topic to report once the fix has made it through our development process.
A fix has been merged and will be available in the next nightly.
