The issue presents itself if you have a perspective view open and in preview mode then open another view. When you return to the original view it will be in designer mode, but it won’t let you delete anything. You have to toggle back into preview mode and back to designer mode to delete. Bug?
Edit: Copy cut and past also don’t work.
I’ve never noticed that in 8.1.5 what version are you using?
I am seeing this on 8.1.13.
Edit: also 8.1.12.
I suffer this on 8.1.10. I noticed that when copy something.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We have a bug ticket to address this behavior.
So far I haven’t found a better workaround than enabling/disabling preview mode on the problem View.
