This is my first time posting so apologies if there is a better place for this.
Recently I moved to a new computer reinstalling Ignition Designer, and ever since I appear to have some weird issues with the tab lines on the Component Scripting window.
Everything is running at 1920x1080 at 100% scaling.
In this image notice how the tab lines shift by ~1 character per tab. This is the default zoom level.
My simple fix is to just zoom out by at least 1 zoom level. This works until I change methods or reopen the window.
I am fine with it slightly zoomed out (In fact I prefer it), but with it constantly resetting it becomes a pain to change the zoom every time I change scripts.
I did some digging and could not find any kind of setting or configuration that would define the default zoom level for these windows. I also searched through the forums to see if anyone else has this issue and couldn't find anything.
Is there a fix for this bug, or a way to define the default zoom level on these windows? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thought about this after posting, Ignition Designer version 8.1.45
Just wondering: does turning on Whitespace (right-click in the editor) affect it?

I tried that before and the tabs show up at the correct width but don't line up with the tab lines
I did some further testing and rolled back to 8.1.43 which was previously installed. After reinstalling BOTH ignition and designer completely the editor works just fine which leads me to believe that this is a problem with 8.1.45. I did a reinstall of 8.1.45 before and it didn't change.
What is weird is I have a server running 8.1.45 and using the 8.1.43 designer the issue still occurs.
If I run Designer 8.1.45 with Ignition Platform 8.1.43 it works fine but not vice-versa.
I am not sure what conclusions can be drawn from this, but with my limited experience I would imagine this means there is a bug with Ignition Platform 8.1.45.
Is there a place I can officially create a bug report?
This isn't happening. You can use the Designer Launcher from any version, but whatever gateway you point it at, the actual Designer that runs is the one in lockstep with that Gateway. You just end up running the 8.1.43 Designer in this case.
The Designer Launcher is not the Designer.
Support portal is the official way.
