[Bug Report] Designer UI: Event Configuration

1. The behavior you unexpectedly encountered - Changing the order of a new script will change the first item to a script from a popup.

2. The behavior you were expecting to see - The popup should remain a popup.

3. A list of the steps you took that exposed the issue

  • Opened the event configuration for a component containing: 1. Popup and 2. Script
  • Added a new script
  • Hit the up arrow twice in quick succession to move the new script to the top.
  • The popup becomes a script.

Just moving a script up and down through a list of >3 actions will cause the actions to be replaced by copies of the script. Even other scripts.

  • Ignition Platform 8.1.17
  • Perspective Module 2.1.17
  • Designer Launcher 1.1.14

FWIW, I just tried on 8.1.19 and could not reproduce. I was using the button component and onActionPerformed event.

What component and event were you using, that may make a difference.

It was a button component and I tried it on onActionPerformed.

For stuff like this you may find it better to call support so they can remote in and take a look.
