I am just now noticing this on Ignition 8.1.4. When you hover the mouse over some long tag configuration data (in this case an Alarm with custom Associated Data) and it contains a < symbol, that symbol won’t be reflected on the tool tip box. Drove me crazy as I started second guessing what was in the equation without actually clicking into the field to edit the contents.
