I’m trying to utilize a button to open a pdf file in adobe. It seems to work fine locally but when I try to open the file via the network it just bombs … any sugestions…
This is the UNC naming path I would like to use…
\ignitioncage\F\F Drive Share\marshalls2.pdf
Is the drive where the pdf is located a mapped drive? If so, change it so the pdf file is located somewhere on the network that has open access permissions and a physical path that can be reached from the server and the Ignition clients.

I think you are on to something here. We are running Windows Server 2008 and though I have given everyone access to that drive it still seems to not work. When I put the pdf file on the root
(c:\marshalls2.pdf ) it seems to work fine. Definitely a permissions issue…
