Button within container

I have a screen made up of 10 different containers placed under root container. Each container is selected by a button down the left side of the screen. For some reason I cannot seem to place a button or anything for that matter within any of my containers. It always places the object under the root container at the same level of all 10 containers.

Well it is a matter of what is selected when you drag the button in. Just cut the component, select the container and press Ctrl-I which is paste immediate. That will put it in your container.
