Should be fine, JDK 11 lists Windows Server 2012 as a supported version.

So with installing the jdk 11 package would it work well for me?

You don’t need to install it, Ignition 8 comes with its own Java runtime. Just run the Ignition installer and you should be fine.

We’ve had no issues with this (apart from Windows 2012 R2 using the crappy metro fullscreen start menu that makes you want to gouge your eyeballs…). We’re on 8.1.0 at the moment
