Can I run a version 8 Enterprise Administration and have it push to 7.9

Hello,

I am running 7.9.10 on a gateway with Enterprise Administration modal. I am currently using this as a place to store my project resources and distribute them to remote 7.9 gateways.

If I upgrade the Enterprise Administration gateway to Ignition 8, will I still have be able to store and distribute resources for 7.9 projects?

7.9 and 8.0 are not able to inter-operate to share project resources - the backend changes are too significant.
