Can Ignition connect to a OPC AE server

I know Ignition can connect to an OPC DA server. What about OPC AE server? Can Ignition also connect to it?

To the best of my understanding, NO. Ignition doesn’t support OPC AE and HA modules. It uses its own modules for AE and HA and cannot connect to external OPC AE or HA servers. IA may please throw more light on this.

No - for COM, we only support DA.
