Can Schedule Management Times/Status be used outside of user management?

I have reports that are being run each shift and the shift times match the schedules that are set up in schedule management. I’d like to be able to pull out the status for the schedule(if its active or not).

I have my own expression tags creating a shift status right now but if the shift time is changed in the schedule management I haven’t found a way to update my expression tag. If I can pull out a status then I’m assuming this status would also account for holidays that are scheduled which would allow me to simplify what I’m trying to create.
