Can the Ignition vision database run without the Tag Historian and SQL Bridge modules?
I doubt whether the tag historian module and sql bridge module are needed
Yes, you can run a Vision project without those modules. You lose convenient configuration of historization of any tags. Instead, you must write scripts to do all of that directly with your own SQL statements. You lose all of the convenience of the EasyChart's tagPens and Vision's tag browser for runtime drag-and-drop. All charting can only be done with an EasyChart's database pens or with query bindings on classic charts.
So, it is possible. But definitely not simple.
