Can The Vision Launcher Launch applications without a Connection To The Gateway?

I'm assuming no, but just double checking with you guys...

We at the plant need a backup for an application incase the ignition server goes down, is there a way to have a vision application run without a connection to the vision server.

I don't believe it's possible to run the application without a connection. The application needs to be connected to read tags, and gather data so even if you could you wouldn't be reading any data.

There's also the local client fallback for this scenario, but like redundancy it involves a second gateway: Local Client Fallback | Ignition User Manual
