Cannot select any object

Hi,

I don`t know what happened after editing some pipes, but when I select the toggle icon to select the other object, I cannot click on any other object, and even if I change the "Deep Select" when I click again on any object, then the deep select jumps to Root, so the only way to select an object is to find it in Container tree and I have to close and open the designer to bring it back to normal.
Has anyone had the same experience?

Sounds like a bug. I would contact IA support and report it as such.

I have the same exact issue. The only solution I have found is to restart Ignition designer.
*edit Talked to support and they are aware of the bug, current workaround is to delete the pipe section that caused the issue or to restart the designer.

I raised the issue with IA, and they are working to resolve it.
