When I go to create an instance of a data type I made the tag name is grayed out and it wont let me set a new tag name, though I can edit the path. How do I change the name?
A screen shot might help us understand your problem. You should be able to change the instance name like any other tag. (Please also add other potentially useful information, like your Ignition version…)
