Can't Install Ignition 8.1.15 on my Mac

Not sure if this is an ignition issue or an issue with my corp side. I get the following message when I doubule click on the ignition icon (.dmg installer)

“ignition-8.1.15-macOs-64-installer” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

Our installers are not 'notarized' (Apple's parlance) because of some complications. For now, you have to jump through some hoops but you should be able to proceed without disabling Gatekeeper:

I've run into the same issue and it's not limited to Monterey. The only way I've gotten the installer to work is to drag the installer application from the dmg file into a directory on the Mac. You have to drag the icon from the window in that installer popup, shown in the screenshot in the OP's post, to any of the directories on your machine (I dragged it into my Downloads folder).
