I can’t seem to Launch a Client.
The Gateway is running on 192.168.0.2 (my home office PC) and my wifes pc on the same network 192.168.0.6.
The client launched always give me a “Time Out Error” when ran from her PC.
I have all the firewalls disable for a short period when testing.
Any clues as to what may be going on?
Thanks

Can you access the Ignition server web page (http://192.168.0.2:8088/main/ in your case) from the PC you’re running the client launcher on?

You mention firewalls, did you disable the windows firewall on the server PC or allow port 8088 in?

Not sure what you mean “Ignition Server Web Page” I can’t launch the client from her pc, but I have internet access and we share files between the 2 pc’s.

No, it times out. I can’t figure out what is preventing me from making a connection.
Sounds exactly like what happens when the Windows firewall is enabled…

I was just about to say take a second look at your firewalls on the server machine as that sounds like what the problem is.

OK, I turned OFF “Windows Firewall” and everything worked. I run AVAST and had forgot about Windows Firewall.
Thanks for all the help.

No need to fully turn off the firewall. Add port 8088 as a custom rule to allow incoming connections.
