For future readers, this is the reason in my opinion you should almost always use a mobile OS for tablet devices. It has a much better user experience in perspective than a full desktop OS like windows

I know its been a while, but any updates on this? Working on trying to capture images from a windows tablet camera. I've got a 'middleware' solution, but trying to decide if its worth exploring something more robust, or if this is still on the roadmap somewhere.
