CCTV Mjpeg Stream credentials via Perspective workstation APP

Good Morning All, I hope you are all well.

With regards to the Inline Frame/Video Player, I have integrated a CCTV Mjpeg stream into both of the above mentioned components. When I create a client using chrome, I get a login popup for the stream. However when I use the perspective workstation app, I get no pop-up or authentication option. Is there any way to get the login pop-up/similar authentication to appear in the workstation session?

I don’t need a password/username so if there is a way to validate the stream credentials without any pop-ups that would also be great. I just need to view the feed in the perspective client.

From Chrome, use the developer tools to see the authentication headers your camera sends. I suspect it is asking for Digest auth, which is not supported by JxBrowser (the core of Workstation and the Designer).

If so, you will need an intermediate server to read the stream with auth, and republish without auth. Perhaps my Image Streamer module.

Or you will need to disable auth entirely in the camera.
