Changing Scheduled Breaks

Hey guys,

Is there a way to cancel out a scheduled break and turn it into run time? Let me give an example.

Say the line is running and then there is a major breakdown, the line is down for about an hour or so. Instead of having everyone just stand there production goes to break while the line is fixed. Now, an hour after the line is up and running again the scheduled break comes in. Right now that time is automatically added to the downtime table (as planned downtime) but they actually ran through their scheduled break because they went earlier during a breakdown.

I can split the downtime and set it as planned break (planned downtime) but I can’t get rid of the scheduled break, this artificially inflates the performance percentage because it looks like they did more production in less time than they actually were running.

This doesn’t happen very often but it would be nice to be able to cancel out a planned break if needed. Is there a way to do this?

Hi,
Try creating a downtime event that has neither recordable or planned selected. Then select it as the downtime reason in that situation. It should move the time back into runtime and remove it from the downtime. This will remove it from the downtime table also, so be careful. Make any time splits before hand.
