Hello, I have this problem when I open the designer application. I don´t know how I can solve it
This is pretty much always a network or firewall issue; something is causing an incomplete or corrupt download of resources from the Ignition Gateway.
Do you have an IT department that you can ask?
Hello Kevin
I will ask for the review.
It is a good posibility
Thanks a lot,
Reviving this thread as I am having a very similar issue.
I am connecting to an Ignition 7.9 gateway over a VPN so I assumed network issues but the network to IP range of the gateway is wide open with no restrictions once I am VPN'ed in. is there anything else it could be?
For reference, this is the error I am getting
I have also considered that it could be firewall/antivirus issues on our end. I have gotten with our IT Team and that doesn't seem to be the case.
I had the same error and what worked for me was:
clearing the Java cache:
Control Panel → Java → Settings… under Temporary Internet Files → Delete Files → check Applications and Applets.
Clearing my local cache:
On Windows: open Explorer and go to
%USERPROFILE%.ignition\cache\resources
Delete everything in that folder.
