Is the Cirrus Link MQTT engine module compatible with Ignition Edge Panel? Ignition Edge | Ignition User Manual says that Ignition Edge can only use one tag provider.
Ignition comes with Cirrus Link Transmission if I remember correctly, you cannot install modules that are not directly approved for Edge on it.
Don't believe it will work when it's not in Trial.
If you need to be able to get some values out to the edge, have the Edge publish the tags via Transmission, and then you can write to those same tags on the broker from other sources, and Transmission will receive the updates.
Is Cirrus Link MQTT Engine for Ignition Edge available somewhere?
It isn't a separate module file vs. Standard. It is different licensing. Edge comes with Transmission. Engine is possible, but you have to pay extra.
You should contact IA sales.
The online pricing page doesn't handle customisations of Edge licences
Because of how Engine works, I would be surprised if they would permit Engine on an Edge gateway. But, because I'm curious...
I have a licensed Edge IIoT gateway that I use for development (staging). Version is current (8.3.6). I installed the MQTT Engine Module, restarted the gateway, and received an error that the module is FAULTED due to:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Invalid License

Contact your IA sales rep and get confirmation from them.
Otherwise, you may need to use a supported protocol (OPC UA, etc.) or a Full gateway to get what you need.
Yes, MQTT Engine works on Ignition Edge. Just have to license it.
Sounds familiar:
