So we've got the ABB TotalFlow driver from CirrusLink on a redundant setup. We did a test failover, and everything except the TotalFlow devices worked on the backup, and those devices on the backup just showed N/A for their status in the device connections. I reached out to CirrusLink and they said that I need to do a force re-sync on the redundancy because it looks like the configuration for these devices wasn't synchronized across.
When going to the redundancy status on the primary server, everything looks normal except the "Config Updates Disk Cache" which shows there are some updates cached, but it doesn't clear out until I force a re-sync (it will sit there forever with these cached updates). This isn't a huge deal since once the plant is up and running it will rarely need re-configured, but while commissioning, every time I make a config change to one of these devices I'll get cached updates and I have to force a re-sync.
CirrusLink said it's an Ignition problem, but has anyone else experienced this? I was going to open a ticket with support but figured I'd see if anyone else has seen this before or if there's an easy fix I'm missing.
Edit: I looked into where these configs are being saved, and it looks like they're being saved (in Windows) here: C:\Program Files\Inductive Automation\Ignition\data\modules\com.cirrus-link\efmabbtotalflow\devices
and I have a suspicion that maybe Ignition doesn't to auto-sync these files.
