Client IP Address

Hi,
I would like to understand in detail how the [System]Client/Network/IPAddress tag is populated.
My PC connects to the gateway with the 192.168.110.1 IP address through the Ethernet adapter with the 192.168.110.250 IP address. In the [System]Client/Network/IPAddress tag I read 169.254.217.35, which is the address of another adapter on my PC.
I’d like to understand how Ignition sets the Client IPAddress and if it is possible to force it to choose one special adapter.

[System]Client/Network folder as it appears in the Designer

Thanks in advance,

I’d say it’s more a way that windows reports it than Ignition.

You can change the order of connections by going to the Advanced Settings dialog of Network Connections:
