Client Launcher and Designer on OSX

I have two issues:

  • Client Launcher does not launch on OSX. Nothing happens, the app never comes up.
  • 7.9.4 Designer fails to launch on OSX with below error. 7.8.2 Designer works fine on OSX.

What version of macOS and Java?

Can you delete the cache folder at ~/.ignition and then try to launch again with the Java console enabled?

Sorry, I’m out of ideas :confused:

Can you call or email support so this gets a ticket and becomes a real issue?

I have the same setup as you, macOS 10.12.6, JDK 8u144, Ignition 7.9.4, and both the designer JNLP and NCL work with no issues, so I’m not sure what’s going on.

Well, we couldn’t figure it out, but using a new user profile fixed the issue.
