Column container editing difficulties

Any time I try to edit a column container I struggle with the l (lack of) responsiveness and the way components jump around to move out of the way. Inserting a row is a major pain as everything below the insertion point has to be manually moved down and they usually manage to rearrange themselves while this is going on.

Does working remotely over VPN to the gateway make this worse?

Has anyone any editing tips?

Lag probbably makes everything worse xd But if you dont have lag then it woudlnt matter where you edit from.

But yea agreed there should be an easier way to add rows.
I never use this container because its to annoying
