What is the best way of implementing a compass in Ignition Perspective 8.1? Vision had a standard component but missing in perspective.

Just use an SVG
I have come across this similar requirement and looking for answer.

There’s a few ways to do this. Here’s a tutorial that is probably useful if you’re trying to do a circular one. Basically, you draw your SVG in Inkscape and then embed it in Ignition. When you drag/drop the SVG onto a screen you want to click the radio box option for “embed” (default is to add it to img library which is less flexible for this sort of thing)
Clocks and compasses are somewhat similar.
I would recommend systematically going through the SVG after you embed it in Ignition and adding style elements to the numbers so you can adjust them all simultaneously with a style. Use search in Ignition to find the text elements within the embedded SVG to add their text styles. It takes a little time but once you have one done you can use that wherever by copy/pasting it to other screens.
