Component Query binding need separate license other than perspective to display results?

Hi,

May be a stupid question but trying to figure out for a component Query binding, do you need a separate license other than perspective module license in order to have a component run a query binding an existing sql database and display the results? For example, for a project we are working on we may need to query the alarm_event table. From what I can see, any other license such as SQL bridge module, is NOT needed in order to achieve this.

As long as you aren’t running on an Edge gateway, you don’t need any other license / module. SQL Bridge gives you transaction groups, which you aren’t using here.
