As far as i know you can use the Ip camera viewer to see live video of an IP camera.
Can i bind the url properties of a camera to a database to see old storage video from a security cam? Is there a better way to do that?

I have done something similar. It basically entailed using VLC media player to play an video file and direct it to a URL which I viewed with the Ignition component. I did it just as a test and never put it into a production system. Mazeyrat built a module with a viewer. I tried it out a while back. I’m sure you can find some posts around here if you do a search.
