I am trying to connect to a 5069-L320ER PLC through a 1756-ENBT card in a ControlLogix Chassis. The sub network ENBT card is in slot 3. The CompactLogix IP address is 192.168.55.10. I have tried a connection path of 1,3,2,192.168.55.10 and 1,3,2,192.168.55.10,1,0 and neither have worked. On the OPCUA Devices page of the Gateway it says connected, but when I try to open a quick client, there are no tags. Thank you for your help.
I would think the connection path should just be:
1,3,2,192.168.55.10
1 = Backplane
3 = Slot 3
2 = Ethernet Port
192.168.55.10 = CompactLogix PLC
Is the ENBT card in the same rack as the ethernet card you're connecting to in your IP address? Is the hostname on your driver configuration, that of the ethernet card/PLC in the ControlLogix PLC rack?
Also, just confirming that the CompactLogix and ENBT card in slot 3 are on the same subnet and physical network. If not, is there a proper router/NAT device and gateway IPs put in everything to properly connect the 2 together?
