For the RSLogix Eumlate 500 (not 5000) which emulated the old micrologix and SLC, you may have to use one of the following:
Serial port emulation (this was available so that you could have an HMI communicate to it).
Purchase RSLinx ‘Single Node’ to give you an OPC connection assuming that all three bits of software are on the same PC (that I believe ignition can use).
If you are using ignition on the same PC, the RSLinx may be easier as otherwise you will need the PC to have two serial ports.
