Connecting to Ignition OPC Server

Hello Support,

I’m trying to find some information about connecting a 3rd party application to Ignition OPC Server.
For example, I would like to use a Kepware to read ignition tags, any idea how to set this up?

I have Ignition reading Kepware tags no problem.

Kepware has an OPC UA Client driver that you can use. I’m sure it’s well documented. The only thing you really need to know is the hostname/IP of your Ignition gateway and that the endpoint/discovery URL to point any UA client at will be “opc.tcp://hostname:4096”.
