Connection to KEBA controller

I have a client who needs to connect Ignition to a KEBA controller (IPC marketed as a PLC used primarily for injection molding applications).

Their website talks about supporting OPC-UA in multiple locations as a part of Industry 4.0, etc., however all attempts to connect to the machines via OPC-UA or OPC-DA have failed.

Has anyone ever connected a KEBA controller to Ignition? If so, how?

I’d be interesting in knowing what went wrong with OPC UA.

It’s been my experience that, even if they do support it, it’s an add-on package.
