Good afternnoon,
I would to connect remote PLC Allen Bradley by external IP(Vpn), how could set up the Ignition to connect?
Ignition doesn't have a built-in VPN. If the VPN offers ordinary routing, Ignition would connect to the PLC without caring that the VPN is there at all. If the VPN is adding some form of network address translation, you might need to tell Ignition to use a different IP address, provided by the VPN.
In other words, you have to ask your VPN provider how they are doing this. It is nothing to do with Ignition.
(But fair warning, ordinary PLC protocols, like for Allen-Bradley, have serious reductions in performance when used over a WAN. Ping time is a killer for these protocols. If you can avoid a remote connection, you should.)
This is the kind of situation where setting up Edge may be a good idea, if you don't have the need for a full gateway in the remote location.
