I wondered why when I use the OPC Tag Browser in the designer and drag a tab in my Tag Browser, I always get something like this before the adress:
ns=1;s=…
ns=1;s= is actually part of the OPC-UA NodeId. Our UA client implementation allows this to be omitted, assuming that it is namespace 1 when not present, but nodes can belong to other namespaces.
As of 7.8 the default behavior is to be explicit about which namespace is being addressed, including when dragging in tags from the OPC browser.
