We have Couth MC2000T Engraving machine controller which is currently connected with rs232 port with labview on standalone PC , we want to connect ignition 8 and send engraving cmd from ignition is it possible?
Yes, but you might have to implement the protocol yourself. Ignition’s serial support module will let you script access to the gateway’s serial port(s). No module required if you use an external Ethenet-to-Serial bridge, like Moxa’s 5000 family.
