CPU Trend flatlining

This is now the second time I've seen this:

Last time it happened it stayed flat until I restarted Ignition. Anyone know what causes this?

Version 8.1.47

I experienced the same CPU flatline on a fleet of gateways running 8.1.17

Gateways were all running in a VM.
Gateways OS was Windows Server (Various flavors all behaved the same).

Around 28 days the gateways CPU would flatline.
I was recording all gateways CPU and RAM to a database so I had a lot of history on when the issue would happen.

I sent some information to IA and the response I got was CPU flatline was related to Windows on VM environments. Apparently there is some adjustment in 8.1.44? (not sure the actual version) where the gateway fetches the CPU % a different way. I was not able to update a gateway yet.

We implemented reboots of all our gateways in a defined maintenance window, and I stopped thinking about the CPU flatline.

Currently running two gateways on 8.1.44 on windows server in a VM and can confirm the problem still exits.

Here is what I was told:

Currently the internal ticket we have tracking this issue has yet to have users migrate their Gateways to 8.1.44 to have any reports of the issue still persisting post upgrade. We have new logging in 8.1.44 that will help us better track this issue with Gateway.PerformanceMonitor set to TRACE. There were some improvements added to this logger that helps calculate the CPU percentage on the Gateway webpage. I can't say for certain if doing the upgrade will resolve the issue but we have more logging to help us further isolate how the Gateway is getting into this state.

I was incorrect, I do not think there was a fix. I think they were looking for people to help them get to root cause. My apologies.
