CPU very high peak issue

Hello,

Ignition 8.1.17. Redundant setup.

Since a weeks, we have an issue with our gateway. The CPU have very high peak (100%) and it create issue with the redundancy. Sometime, the redundant gateway think the master is off and take the control... Bith gateway think it is master.

How to disgnose these CPU peaks? I'd like to have some tips about how I can identify the task on the gateway that create that.

I suggest you give support a call and take some thread dumps at both the peaks and lulls. You can setup newer versions to auto take dumps when cpu goes above a %
